REVIEW:
By Yours Truly
This album, the 3rd one, is pretty much the definition of eclectic in my mind. Each song on here is a seperate little entity from the tunes before and after it and they all hold up pretty well as individual pieces of work. Not surprisingly I have my favorites, the most favorite one being "The Man Who Ate His Car". A fun song with some R&R kick ass punch to it too. Mike Slamer's guitar playing continues to stand out and impress and the dual lead vocals of Lol Mason and Steve Broughton add a lot to the overall unique sound of the band.
With this album they've also lost their first member, Roger Kent, the original drummer. Tony Braunagel is credited with the drum work on this Lp and as far as I've been able to tell he was never an official member of the band, just a session musician helping out in a time of need. He does a fine job with the latitude given by the rest of the boys. I've added a link to his website for you drummer types and others who like to know who's who.
