REVIEWS:

By Yours Truly
This is a fairly new aquisition of mine. I've owned the second Mike Greene Band album since the 70's but I never knew there was another one until music blogs came along. I purchased my copy thru one of the old vinyl for sale houses and received a copy in very good shape.
I've played this one on and off over the last couple months and find it very pleasing listening. If you've heard Midnight Mirage then you could call this one M.M. #2 even though it was their first album. The songs on this album are extremely well done and very musical. Each musician is obviously very familiar with their instrument and they each bring quality playing individually together to form a cohesive arrangement.
As was the case so many times back in the 70's, this is just another quality band that got overlooked for some reason or another. I'd suggest that now you've got a chance to right that wrong. Take a listen to this one and Midnight Mirage and see if you can't find a tune or two that sticks with you.

Do you know how to read!!!!!!!???????

At the end of every post there is a contact section with a link to click on. Assuming you get that far then you read the post there and follow the instructions. If that's too much trouble then I suggest you start your own blog.
Out of about 600 requests there's only been 4 or 5 who just can't seem to figure it out. Goodluck.

The Mike Greene Band. Man they were tight. Saw them several times at The Great Southeast Music Hall in Atlanta. Highly recommend both albums. Isn't Mike president of the Grammy's org. now?

Mike Greene is also the former head of the Grammy awards who was forced to resign in 2002 for supposed sexual harassment.

Another note is on Mike Holbrook who was also in the Hampton Grease Band, whose double album on Columbia was supposedly the second worse selling Columbia album of all time!
